Hello and Welcome to my blog : Passion Meets Purpose (formerly known as The 3 L's Of Happiness). It has been years since I started my blogging journey (and even more years since I started writing) but writing a new post always feels like the first time: the same fears, the same joys, the same excitement and sometimes the same frustrations. Like every journey, there have been ups and downs, moments where I wasn't really sure what to write about but most importantly, there has been a change in direction as I embarked on my own personal journey to find myself and my inner voice. What started as a creative way to cope with life has become a way to join passion to what I believe is my purpose: to help make this world a better place (hence the name Passion meets Purpose). I am simply using my words to encourage, to elevate, to educate, to empower and also sprinkle a little humor in the lives of the people that stop by and read those words. My voice is changing and transforming as I am maturing but the purpose still remains the same.
Whenever I tell people that I blog the first question they ask me is "what do you talk about?" and the complexity of this response is at the measure of the complexity of my being: just like I am not just one thing, the same is true of this blog. You will find here a little bit of everything from my spiritual walk, my deepest (and sometimes most intimate/bizarre thoughts) to what/where I shop, some of my favorite dishes and of course my humble (and at time biased) experiences of/opinions on relationships (not a relationship expert though).
I have been featured on Thought Catalog and I cannot wait to see where this journey as a blogger will take me as long as I got words to say and bars to share (it was my humble, one line try at rapping. Not impressive but not bad either)
This is a judgement free zone where I allow myself and the people that visit to keep things real without shame and without shade (okay... Maybe a little bit of shade). It is my belief that we all have gifts and although we can't be good at everything, there is that one thing that nobody can do the way we do it. Mine is writing and I am allowing myself to let my words be heard in order to serve a purpose much bigger than me.
